At Pietas, our websites are designed specifically for the accountancy industry. They have been developed to provide the content and functionality that a potential client would want to find when researching to change accountancy firm. Furthermore our Platinum, Gold and Silver website options are developed using the latest technologies while making sense from a cost perspective for the accountancy profession. The name Pietas, comes from ancient Rome and was one of the four Roman virtues, along with Gravitas, Dignitas and Virtus. Cicero defined Pietas as the virtue "which admonishes us to do our duty" and Tiberius minted coins with the inscription Pietas Augusta. Consequently we choose our name to represent integrity, ethics and hard work which we apply to our work.
Meet Our Team
Kieran has extensive experience in business having owner managed companies for over two decades. Consequently he has a deep understanding of the strategic and business issues that challenge our clients thereby enabling comprehensive and innovative solutions to these needs in terms of their web site and virtual presence.
Kieran augmented his skill-set through continual learning by graduating with distinction from a MBA program in International Business Management and received first class honours in a Higher Diploma in Science in IT Infrastructure. In addition he is Cisco, VMware and Microsoft certified having successfully completed the requirements for seven professional IT certificates.
Douglas has vast experience creating innovative e-commerce solutions and has worked on a wide range of projects in an array of industries. He graduated with a distinction from a Higher Diploma in Science in IT Infrastructure and is Zend PHP certified thereby enabling bespoke application development through programming in PHP, JavaScript, Jquery, JavaScript library, Ajax and HTML/CSS.
Douglas is also a certified technical trainer (CTT+) and had lectured on courses in HTML/CSS and in CMS systems and graphic design programs. In addition he has a thorough understanding in the latest web development systems including Magento, Zend, Git, Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla and Ubercart.
